Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Where are you located/what time are you open?
Check out our Contact Us page for information on our hours and location.
How much does it cost to have my pet seen at the SCA clinic?
The cost per visit varies based on why you are bringing your animal in. We do not charge for our staff's time, or per visit, only for the medication your pet needs to be healthy. Check out our Clinic Services page for more specific information on pricing.
Do you offer grooming services?
Yes, we offer grooming services by appointment only. Please check out our Grooming page for more information and pricing.
How much does it cost to adopt a pet?
Cats are $30 to adopt and dogs are $40. Check out our Adopt and Foster! page to learn more about the process.
Can I adopt an animal to breed?
No. All animals adopted out at SCA are sterilized (spayed/neutered) and unable to breed. There are already enough dogs and cats in the CNMI who need a loving home. Animals who are not yet sterilized can only be fostered. Check out our Adopt and Foster! page to learn more about the process.
Why do I need to get my pet spayed/neutered?
Spay/neuter surgery, also known as getting an animal fixed or sterilized, is a basic surgery that makes it so your pet cannot have babies (if female) or get female animals pregnant (if male). It is important to get your pet fixed, especially if it is an outdoor pet, so that it doesn't reproduce and contribute to the stray animal population in the CNMI.
Do you have a location on Rota or Tinian?
Unfortunately, Saipan Cares does not have a permanent location on Rota or Tinian. Check out our Facebook page for information on when the next pop-up clinic is happening on your island.
